Nobody does it better

Postby KSC2-303 » Sun Feb 21, 2010 2:40 pm

....makes me feel bad for breakfast.

In 90 mins of brunch I consumed the following:

3 stuffed shell florentine
4 spears asparagus
4 donuts
3 pieces of apple crumb cake (1 with cream cheese)
1 bisquit
Bleu cheese potato salad
Entire plate of home fries split over 4-5 servings
6 quarters of belgian waffle with syrup and whipped cream
2 slices French toast
1 slice cheese cake
6 mini cream puffs
2 mini eclairs
1 dish cheese cake flovored frozen yogurt
1 onion and cheddar ommlette
Another quarter of waffle with some of the frozen yogurt
1 slice carrot cake
2 cups coffee
1 diet coke
I slice bread butter

edit: I forgot the one segment of pink grapefruit. I stopped at one. I figured why bother wasting stomach space on fruitstuffs!

Breakfast can't be quantified in fractions.

Jesus, man! And here I was throwing up sick Saturday morning for the first time since I was a kid.

Bleu Cheese potato salad sounds pretty great.

It does, but honestly at that point my mouth was on flavor overload. I didn't actually taste it. I should have stuck to all breakfast, but had to give that and the shells a shot. Thank god I don't partake of the flesh. I probably would have dropped dead right in front of the carving station with a piece of bacon wrapped brisket jammed in my craw.

Some rich area of Northern NJ called Lafayette Village. I was miffed about going initially as it was an hour away, but the foods made it all worth while. Omelettes were made to order, waffles came right out of the iron into the pan and not from the kitchen or under a heat lamp like lots of other buffets, and the dessert table was all high quality regular dinner menu fair, not the cheap shite usually thrown on the table with a bunch of stale cookies.

The downside of course is that it cost $16.99 a head, but my Grandmother paid, thankfully. I'd say I ate about $40 worth, so that softened the blow some.
