S'more burgers please

Postby MT » Tue Aug 19, 2008 1:28 pm

i was eating my nightly steamed ham snadwich with cheese last night when i tasted an interesting flavour combination. it was a bit of charred food that reminded me of charred marshmallow. that got me to pondering what kind of outcome i'd get if i melted a marshmallow onto my burger instead of cheese. hell, what about some chocolate? this seems pretty alright in my head, so it may move onto the testing stage.

I was thinking the other day that Oh Henry! bars should have dried banana pieces in them as well as peanuts.

OH HENRY! Candy Bar is the delicious combination of big crunchy peanuts, creamy caramel, chewy fudge, covered with a chocolaty coating.

* The 1990s sitcom Seinfeld featured a recurring character, Sue Ellen Mischke (played by Brenda Strong), who was an heiress to the Oh Henry! candy bar fortune.

* The Canadian version of Oh Henry! is the heaviest ordinary chocolate bar on sale in Canada, at 62.5 grams.

* When Henry Rodriguez was playing for the Montreal Expos it was a tradition at Olympic Stadium to throw Oh Henry! bars on the field after a home run or when he came up to bat. This would sometimes momentarily delay games. This tradition continued when he played for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Not bad at all. I think if I salted the patty a little bit it might have even been pretty great. Aside from being pretty messy nothing really stood out. It was wasn't bland, but the flavours didn't explode in my mouth making me jizz myself like i hoped.
