Remember when I said Silent Hill was dead?

And how losing the sound design and music production from Yamaoka was the final nail in the coffin? I wasn't wrong. Just listen to the music they're using now.

Looks like they got horror confused with teenage angst. Fuck that.

My favorite part was the Beauty and the Best 3D re-release trailer.

I also don't think that song will be in the actual game any more than the songs they use in the CoD trailers are in the actual games. Actually maybe they do, I haven't actually seen trailers or played the games.

I like Korn but the animation in that game looks horrible.

Doesn't really matter if it's in the game or not. When Silent Hill was a respectable series it never did rubbish like this. It was entirely self-contained. I was actually going to give the game a chance, even though I knew beforehand it wasn't going to be enjoyable. Using Korn to promote the thing just killed it for me. I'll just be glad I got four really good games before they turned this into a generic horror series. Anything that made Silent Hill unique or enjoyable has been removed from the equation.

Yeah, but think of all the series has gained.

1) Korn
2) ????
3) ????
