Mcfarlane 12" Paratrooper, CC5 Medieval Ash reviews

Postby Michael Crawford » Tue Nov 07, 2006 8:48 pm

There are plenty of 12" military figures on the market - so what makes Mcfarlane's entry into the format unique? Well, these aren't the normal sixth scale military figure - they're two ups of their 1/12th scale figures. I have a review up tonight of the Paratrooper, and he scores well in the categories you expect, like sculpt and paint, but he's at that high price point (like several other recent 12" plastic figures) that hurts him slightly in the overall.

The guest review is from Jin Saotome, and it covers one you've been requesting! Jin looks at the Cult Classics 5 Medieval Ash, and he loves it about as much as everyone else seems to. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Oh, and it's mid-week, which means a Quick Stop review. This week it's the Gremlins! No, not the eighties version, but the originals from the 1940's! This set of PVC's is produced by Dark Horse based on the old Roald Dahl story that they've just reprinted.

Thanks for reading!
