Last Game You Played/How Was It

Postby Ghost » Tue Jun 12, 2007 10:33 am

This worked for movies so I figured it could work for games as well.

Super Mario World: Super Mario Advanced 2 - Super Mario World for GBA with some added sound effects and Luigi. It's Super fucking Mario World. 10/10. I wish I was playing it right now and I've had the SNES version since it was released in 1990 or whenever. Since I'm playing it on that Gameboy Player that attaches to my Gamecube the controls are a bit strange at first but thats pretty much all that it has against it.

Shadowrun: the only singleplayer mode is deathmatch with bots, rubbish. i don't think i'll even try it again. it does have some neat things in it, but with a single player campaign its lost on me.1/10

Gun: nothing really special aside from being a western shooter. generic AIs, graphics are okay, overdone auto aim. you can trample people with horses, though. i also killed a bear. but no real challenge aside from outlast his health meter. it would be better if i had to lure the bear(or any boss) under a rock slide, or something that makes you think. i'll keep playing it. 3/10

Gun isn't bad but it won't blow you away. I had a good time with it, though. Keep playing it. Slowing down time and killing like 10 guys before they can get off a shot is pretty cool.

I'm shite at Super Mario World. My old man hands and mind find it too hard to process.

I struggle with anything more complicated than Final Fight One these days.

I really enjoyed Gun, but I can't aim for shite using the nipple controller (too imprecise). I stopped playing after failing a mission.

Gun was superior on the PS2 due to the controls. I played it on PS2, and bought it for Gamecube. That was a mistake.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Decent so far. Nothing spectacular. Collecting the second set of tears. 5.5/10 thus far. Final rating later.

I started playing Windwaker, and so far I'm enjoying it more than TP.

I think I enjoyed WW a bit more too. I borrowed it from a friend, and never got to finish it. If I can find a cheap copy somewhere I might buy and finish it.

God of War - Un-fucking-believable. I finally got around to playing it 'cuz a friend at work has it. I played it non-stop for a week until I beat it. I eagerly anticipate getting the sequel.

In the middle of Farcry now. Excellent so far.

Gun- i thought it had an autosave function, and left it on when i went to work, all progress was lost in a power surge. i'm bored so i'll start over, but i'll probably quit if i die once.

They're making a PSP sequel to God of War, I'll probably play that one. If I ever get a PS3, I suppose I could play the others as well.

God of War - I regret waiting this long to play the game. I picked it up cheap a couple weeks ago. The game is undeniably short. I finished it in 3 days, but man was it awesome. Aside from length, I can't think of another problem with the game. Like I've done with Metal Gear, I'm starting to work on playing through all the difficulties. I'm replaying it right now.

Loco Roco - Cute, simple PSP fun. I haven't finished it since it's my bro's game and PSP, but I'm loving it so far. The style of art is so simple and cute. I love the upbeat music as well.

Metal Gear Solid 1 (Playstation) - The graphics maybe outdated, but the fun will never die. I took me almost a year to find a good copy around town, but it was worth it. I just felt like replaying it for no reason yesterday. So yeah, still awesome.
