A little blinking red light and it won't turn on anymore. :beaver:

I disassembled it completely to get the disc out (the only way to get a disc out on expired launch models). I tried to get it repaired, but not a single reputable (i.e. non craigslist) store wanted to touch it. Sad. It had full backwards compatibility.

I traded a co-worker his PS3 slim for a new blu-ray player.

I think littlebigplanet is stuck in my dead ps3. not sure if I want to go through the trouble of getting out. I do like taking things apart, though.

It takes about 15-20 minutes to take all the screws out, unless you have some powered screwdriver.
