Yea, some damn hacker messed up some of the html pages at the site, and Google flagged it. If you see that webpage that says the site might be infected, that's the Google flagging. I think I have everything cleaned up now and I've asked Google to re-review it. Damn Hackers. You'll see that message f...

Ken Griffey Jr. Review

I'm not sure I can be unbiased when it comes to baseball right now - my Tigers broke my heart this year. But I'll do my best as I look at the new Clark Toys exclusive Ken Griffey Jr. SportsPicks figure. This time around, Griffey is wearing his Mariners outfit with number 24, in his trademark batting...

Hot Toys Marcus Wright, Samus Aran reviews

It seems like Hot Toys just keeps crankin’ out the hits. The latest release is Marcus Wright from the Terminator: Salvation series, and the skin wearing T-600 is going to be hot on his heels. I really like Marcus, but have to admit that he’s a bit expensive for what you’re getting, and might not be ...

Mattel's Avatar Jake Sully review

It’s months til the movie hits theaters, but the world is already buzzing (good and bad) about James Camaron’s new film, Avatar. I’m checking out the Jake Sully deluxe Movie Masters figure tonight, and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. I still don’t know how I feel about the movie, but at leas...

Syroco Homer Simpson, more Four Horsemen girls, HT POTA

I've got a ton of reviews up tonight, with a little bit of just about everything for everybody. First up, I'm looking at the Syroco style Homer Simpsons 'statue' from Dark Horse. This is one that folks are going to love or hate - there's not going to be any in between. I also have a short feature on...

Go Hero Buck Rogers review

Go Hero has made a huge entrance into the high end sixth scale market, challenging the likes of Hot Toys and Enterbay, with their release of Buck Rogers. Rarely am I this impressed by a figure, especially when it comes to the accessories and outfit. Every time I though I'd exhausted the cool feature...

Batman B&W Mazzucchelli review

I never really expected that the Batman: Black and White series of statues to last this many years and this many releases, but somehow they manage to continue to give us interesting designs. The latest release is based on the work of David Mazzucchelli, the artist that worked on Batman: Year One wit...

FANtastic Exclusive Queen's Kittys review

A couple weeks ago, I checked out the Queen Alluxandra and Isadorra from the Four Horsemen's latest FANtastic Exclusive series. Today I'm looking at 6 more - all cats! Some of these are better than others, but that's really a personal preference thing, since the paint jobs are what makes them unique...

Hot Toys Gorilla Soldier and Silken Floss reviews

It's all about the 'hot' toys tonight...or at least action figures made by Hot Toys! I'm looking at their first Planet of the Apes release, the Gorilla Soldier, and he's sweetness. There's a couple unusual issues that I've not normally seen with an HT product that hold him back from a perfect score,...

Sideshow's big problem here is that they can't seem to be consistent. Hot Toys is always great, and you know when they get a license, it will kick ass. I'm going to be reviewing the Gorilla Soldier tomorrow night, and as much as I was not on board with this whole 'real hair' thing, I gotta admit tha...

The head sculpt is as accurate to the character as any of the HT Tony Stark sculpts. It doesn't have the extreme skin texture work, but it's as accurate in it's resemblance to the character, sans glasses.

No, Harvey's suit is not better. And yes, the Pro does pose just as cleanly now as the TT and doesn't have the shitty wrist pegs.

Can't see past the glasses, eh? The suit is better than any produced by Hot Toys so far, including the Stark. The body is on par with the TT. The accessories are just as good as HT would have done for this same character. The head sculpt is as good as many HT sculpts, including the aforementioned St...

Sideshow's Toht, NECA Dead Space reviews

After seeing the photos online, I've been worried about poor Toht, the latest release in Sideshow's Indy line. Turns out, I like him better than I expected! The head sculpt is much better than I expected, especially the melted head, and the outfit, articulation and accessories (other than the Ark) a...

MOTUC Tri-klops, Booty Babes reviews

After having a rough experience ordering Man-at-arms, the Tri-klops experience was far, far simpler for me - and many others. It looks like Mattel might be getting the numbers and systems performance about right. That's good, because the line seems to keep getting better, even when the figures are 8...

It's an all Indiana Jones night, with something old, and something new...the something new is Medicom's Young Indiana Jones.
